Free Meal at Wienerschnitzel for Vets 11/11

Founded by John Galardi in 1961 with a single hot dog stand in Wilmington, Calif., Wienerschnitzel is a bona fide pioneer of the quick-service food industry. The world's largest hot dog chain serves more than 120 million hot dogs annually and is famous for its delicious proprietary chili recipe. Based in Irvine, Calif., Wienerschnitzel operates or franchises 351 stores in 10 states and Guam. It is part of Galardi Group, which is also the parent company of The Hamburger Stand and Tastee Freez LLC.

As some of you know, Wienerschnitzel was once Der Wienerschnitzel. Because their name was already a mouthful, they dropped the "Der" back in 1977. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2011 and to commemorate their golden milestone, they brought the Der back to help out. For some, the Der never left. You'll find it in their premium hot dogs and sausages, their world-famous chili, and their love for all things Der-worthy.

All veterans and active duty military can present their military ID or wear their uniform on Veterans Day to receive a free Chili Dog, small fries, and small Pepsi.
