MI News 26 is northern Michigan's new 24-hour local news network. Launched in February 2011 and added to the Charter Digital Cable lineup in January 2012, their station broadcasts local news, weather, event information and features to northern Michigan around the clock.
Viewers receiving MI News 26 via antenna or Summit Digital cable in McBain receive two extra channels, as well as their local news coverage.
They broadcast classic TV shows such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, Jack Benny, the Beverly Hillbillies and more on TV 26, antenna channel 26.2 and Summit Digital channel 22.
They also offer a selection of classic and independent films on 26 Cinema, antenna channel 26.3 and Summit Digital channel 26.
