Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center's Emergency Department offers quality, efficient emergency services and urgent care 24 hours a day. And thanks to their Comprehensive Assessment, Review and Disposition (CARD) room, they're expediting the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. In the CARD room, patients can watch TV, read and enjoy the soothing murals painted by local artist Dena Blake while undergoing testing and treatment. Their Emergency Department works closely with the hospital's Chest Pain Observation Unit. This, in turn, helps free additional services for non-cardiac patients.
