Children's Book Week 2012 will be observed May 7-12, and a free poster is available to post on your bulletin board, classroom door or library wall.
The colorful poster promoting literacy was designed by illustrator David Wiesner, who has supplied artwork for more than 20 award-winning books for young readers.
To order the free Children's Book Week poster(s) with an activity guide, send a 9x12-inch self-addressed envelope with postage affixed if you would like 1-10 posters. A 10x13-inch self-addressed envelope with attached postage is needed if you plan to order 10-25 posters, the maximum number allowed. Postal regulations have changed recently, so ask for help with prices at your Post Office.
