April has been designated national Autism Awareness Month and provides the perfect opportunity for individuals and organizations across the nation to educate their communities about autism. Autism New Jersey's "Autism Awareness Ambassador Program" enables individuals concerned about autism to raise awareness in their neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and local communities.
Their Autism Awareness Ambassador program provides tips and tools to help you get involved and spread awareness in your school, workplace or community.
This year, their 2012 Awareness Ambassador Program theme is "Create Change." Join them in their mission to change the way the world views autism. Educate your peers, inspire others to act and lead the way to improving the lives of individuals affected by autism.
2011 Registration is now open. Sign up today.
Note: You must register each year to receive a kit.
Autism Awareness Ambassadors receive a free kit of information, a guide to setting up your own activities and other great ideas. All Ambassadors receive a free "Autism Awareness Poster" and bookmark with their packet, along with other helpful publications.
Kits will be mailed in February 2012.
