The goal of Brain Test is to gain valuable information from a broad range of people that will help researchers to tackle the world's most challenging problems in neuropsychiatry, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

The next 100 families that complete the Inattention Study will receive a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate.

They are looking for Family Volunteers with 1 parent and 1 child (between the ages of 9-17) for a research study on Cognition and Attention.

This study is run by investigators in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry at the Semel Institute. The goal of their research is to examine whether memory and attention behaviors are inherited by children from their parents, and what characteristics the behaviors have in a large community sample. Participation involves both parent and child filling out several questionnaires and taking computer tests done on the internet (from home). It involves less than 75 minutes of testing for the parent and less than 60 minutes of testing for the child.

You must be between the ages of 21-50 and either Hispanic or Caucasian to participate at this time.
