AAA automobile clubs had a two-fold purpose: First, to provide specialized services to members - such as emergency road service, travel and touring service, and other direct benefits. Secondly, to work for the improvement of motoring and travel conditions generally, particularly in the field of legislation, highways and taxation, and street and highway safety.
In the future, as in the past, AAA will take a leading part in civic work, safety activities, legislative representation, and in personalized service.
