The Forest Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (C) 3 organization created in 1994 to inform Californians, particularly K-12 students, about the role forests play in the environmental and economic health of the state.
Their mission is to foster public understanding of forest ecosystems in California by providing balanced, science-based information on environmental, economic, and societal uses of forest resources for present and succeeding generations.
