The fast charger charges 12-volt batteries in about 30 minutes.

This one is quit clear..for a Battery charge for your car...NOT a free CHARGER for your car battery...I only gave 1 star because this is offered on the front window of Auto Zone stores!

He/she never said it was a free CHARGER for your car battery. It is very clear in the presentation right here on this site that you can get your car battery charged for free at an AutoZone store. And it doesn't matter if you can see a freebie somewhere else as well. I didn't know about this, and now I do. Value is in the eye of the freebie-searcher. lol

If my battery was dead, I'm wondering how I would get my car to AutoZone. After paying for an expensive wrecker to tow the vehicle, or the high cost of dragging it behind a bus, I could have just bought a new battery. And a sandwich to reward me for its installation. A big sandwich. Like comedically huge.

In my humble opinion, AutoZone would do better to offer free recharging of watch batteries. Because those are always going dead at the most inopportune of moments. And a watch is very easily transported inside an AutoZone.
