You pay nothing as long as you keep it after 30 days. Otherwise you pay to return it to them. Also there are very limited area codes right now. Not all States are listed. They are updating, but no idea how long it will take to add all the area codes and states.

I have had Majic Jack for 9 months now and it works good for me! it is free for 30 days trial or you can purchase in the store fo somthing like $39.99 which includes the first year of service then only 19.99 a year therafter. you can call any where in the USA for no charge

I had Magic Jack for about a year or so.Only trouble I had line on my crack and hang it up now I have a cell phone but it was nice because pay once and no long distance charges and no phone bill. For me I thought it was good.
